The Opportunity
Under the direction of leadership, the Clinical Operations Supervisor facilitates the delivery of outstanding service and clinical excellence to Teladoc Health members. The Supervisor provides day to day support and leadership to the Rx Fulfillment team ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Teladoc Services. This role requires exercising considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving Rx fulfillment problems within established policies and practices.
The Supervisor works closely with leadership to perform routine people management duties, such as administration of staff schedules, providing performance feedback, supporting employee development activities, and leading training activities. The supervisor participates in projects and initiatives that support process improvements and efficiencies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily operations of clinical staff, assuring the successful delivery of department KPI’s and providing clinical expertise
- Ensures equitable distribution of work within the team and adequate staffing coverage
- Ensures outstanding service delivery quality and timeframes for all Teladoc Clinical Services
- Approves staff timecards and requests for paid time off
- Communicates operational changes and updates to team members
- Leads, mentors and motivates staff to cultivate a positive and fun workplace environment
- Provides clinical support and guidance to Rx Fulfillment team and cross-functional support staff
- Conducts quality audits and provides employees with direct, positive and constructive feedback
- Assists staff with challenges and problem solving in real time, acting as point of escalation for members and inter-departmental issues, engaging with key stakeholders as needed
- Monitors and reports daily case volumes and Service Levels to department leadership
- Participates in selecting, hiring, onboarding and training of staff
- Identifies opportunities and develops process improvement initiatives
- Supports other activities and special projects as assigned
Candidate Profile
- Outstanding team player & strong interpersonal skills
- Quality driven with a focus on flawless customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency using technology and software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Skilled in organizing and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment
- Motivation to meet deadlines both personal and for the team
- Bilingual-Spanish speaking a plus
- Current Pharm Tech or LVN certification required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Customer service in healthcare setting experience preferred
The base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
