Product Lead, Clinical Quality Outcomes

The Opportunity

As Teladoc Health increasingly shifts to value-based care and at-risk contract structures, our value proposition is increasingly dependent on our ability to identify and close gaps in care that impact clinical quality measures, yield positive health outcomes, and reduce total cost of care. The Product Lead, Gaps In Care is responsible for the effectiveness of Teladoc Health's product portfolio active in the Government segment in closing gaps in care and the outcomes our solutions generate.

This role will report to the Director, Gaps In Care Product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Teladoc’s multi-year strategy for closing GIC across Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Mental Health (MH) product lines and performing against prioritized clinical quality measures.
• Develops and maintains Teladoc’s CCM and MH GIC roadmap, leveraging insights from the market, clients, and our clinical team.
• Defines, actively tracks, and internally reports out the GIC metrics that matter.
• Ensure GIC-related product features are delivered / integrated in conjunction with other contractual requirements to drive maximum impact across the term of client contracts.
• Works with our Commercial organization to identify and prioritize which HEDIS measures are important to the market and current/prospective clients and strengthen our product value proposition.
• Works across the Product organization (in particular with the Member Experience, Provider Experience, and Reporting teams), Data Science, and Engineering to identify members with GIC, embed GIC solutions into the member and provider experience of our product lines, and generate reports indicating our GIC closure performance.
• Works with Clinical Strategy, Clinical Operations, and Clinical Quality to develop the service model strategy and ensures that analytics and technology solutions are effective and feasible at closing gaps in care within the service model.
• Coordinates with the Risk Infrastructure team to identify opportunities to leverage infrastructure, tooling, and platforms to enhance/automate the identification of gap closure opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of Product Management experience that blends technical product with clinical service delivery.
• 5+ years experience working within the healthcare industry.
• B2B2C experience preferred – requires both a deep understanding of buyer/client needs and a passion for helping members with their healthcare journey.
• Subject matter expertise and domain knowledge regarding HEDIS and other clinical quality measures preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver in a highly complex, multi-product, matrixed organization.
• Strong proficiency in product management best practices and processes operating at scale.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the healthcare technology industry.
• Adept at staying current with regulatory changes and understanding implications on clients and their needs.
• Comfortable with ambiguous problems and situations. Experience in proactively making sense of complicated challenges with minimal direction or oversight.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills – highly skilled at articulating the “what, why, and how.” Strong execute presence.
• The ability to work nimbly across multiple projects, with fast-paced, iterative product development cycles.
• The flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive product launch schedules.
• Experience working and innovating in close collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Adept at both giving and receiving feedback in an innovative teamwork-driven environment. Strong contributor to team culture and problem solving with peers.
• Exceptional project management / organization skills, with superb attention to detail.

The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2023. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
